Ryszard Cieplechowicz: recovering a dropped task

Tasks stall when the owner is unclear. A short sequence gets one moving again.

  1. Find the last record of the task and its date.
  2. Name the person who owns the next step. If nobody does, assign one.
  3. Write the next action and a due date in one line.
  4. Tell the requester what happened, briefly.

The longer version is on the main site: dropped-task recovery checklist.
