Ryszard Cieplechowicz: Tampa Bay housing data

Ryszard Cieplechowicz, publicly known as Richard Cieplechowicz, publishes three free, reproducible Tampa Bay housing tables built from Census Bureau survey estimates.

All three use the American Community Survey (ACS) 2020-2024 five-year release and the same 132 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties. Each has a CSV, a Kaggle dataset, a Zenodo DOI and public source code.

The three studies

• Rent burden: how many renter households spend at least 30% or 50% of income on gross rent.
• Owner-occupied home values: median value and four value bands.
• Vacancy composition: what kinds of vacant units the survey counts.
